GEN Online offers business networking and collaboration opportunities in Gloucestershire. Managed by the University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, GEN Online offers a gateway to business support services encouraging business development and communication.

GEN aim to facilitate Knowledge Exchange and business collaboration amongst the Gloucestershire's economic communities by:

Providing opportunities for collaboration, engagement and networking, building business strength through the exchange of knowledge and promotion of best practice

The Gloucestershire Enterprise Network, or GEN as it is now more commonly known, is the Gloucestershire's on-line and off-line networking tool. Launched by the University of Gloucestershire in November 2005, GEN has gone from strength to strength, with member numbers increasing and new areas of the site being developed.

David Owen, GEN Director, is delighted with the launch of GEN and its subsequent growth. Speaking at the launch event at the Cheltenham Racecourse, David commented: "The Gloucestershire Enterprise Network has been geared to enhance a feeling of community amongst businesses in the County."
