The West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF) is a trade association that champions and supports the interests of the aerospace and defence industry in the South West of England. The forum leads the industry in delivering competitiveness programmes to the SME community.

WEAF facilitates future competitiveness and growth of the aerospace industry in the South West, by championing the interests of all aerospace companies in the region. WEAF are a value adding strategy and partnership management team based on successful projects that lead to growing strength and sustainability of the aerospace and defence industry in the South West of England.

The WEAF aim is that the industry be supported by other appropriate partners in engaging on the main WEAF projects. It is important industry apply their own resources, as it is they who can see where the benefit will come from and ensure it is delivered. In this way WEAF can maintain a small core team ensuring complementarily of actions in/with the industry and the identification of new strategic opportunities.

WEAF is the Strategy Delivery Vehicle for the South West Regional Development Agency and therefore a good source of support funding information.
