Knowledge West Enterprise Awards Ceremony 2008

The Knowledge West Enterprise Awards recognise and reward the best business ideas and new enterprises by students, staff and alumni from the six partner HEIs in the West of England.

For 2008, the two categories of the Best Student Business plan and Best Alumni Business plan, offer significant cash prizes from a prize fund of £20,000 and regional exposure for the winning businesses.

At the ceremony guests were able to meet entrants during a welcome buffet. Guest then joined the entrant team tables for the viewing of films of each business and the final announcement of the awards winners. The ceremony included presentations by guest speakers:

Giles Clarke - serial entrepreneur, England & Wales Cricket Board chairman, founder of Majestic Wine Warehouses, Pet City, Safestore and more
