Knowledge West News01/09/2008: Knowledge West Enterprise Awards 2008 – Just Keeps Getting BetterKnowledge West is pleased to announce the second Knowledge West Enterprise Awards to recognise and reward the best business ideas and new enterprises by students and alumni from the six Higher Education Institutes in the West of England. With all six institutes nominating entries this year, Knowledge West looks forward to showcasing these budding entrepreneurs in the region. 28/07/2008: Region Hailed as Driving Force of InnovationScience City Bristol will this week welcome Ian Pearson, Minister for Science and Innovation so that he can experience first hand the innovative technologies being developed in the region. The visit, part of the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) Innovation Nation roadshow, will promote the Government's vision for science, innovation and knowledge transfer in the UK and give the Minister an opportunity to find out more about the South West's innovative business culture. |
